Lenten Quiet Day with Sister Cornelia, OSH

Lent begins with Jesus' Baptism and the temptations in the wilderness and ends with the crucifixion. This quiet day will focus on Jesus at prayer during these three years. We will reflect on the way His example has or might inform our own prayer.
Light pastries and tea will be provided.

Service will begin with a procession from the foyer into the church.

A simple meal will follow in the parish hall.

Join us for a pot luck luncheon fellowship and childen's Easter egg hunt!
There is no Sunday School on Easter Sunday as children are encouraged to join their parents in Sunday worship.

Sunday School, Fall 2006
The plans for the Sunday School are two fold this year. We will continue with scripture and Bible stories and begin a study of the Sacraments. We will continue our worship and some kind of creative activity that reinforces the scripture lessons. A Christmas presentation will be offered on a Sunday in December, during worship. We thank the many volunteer assistants this Fall. We encourage you to invite your neighbors. –Sister Cornelia, OSH
