Ms. Celia Yu Ong, Music Director
Celia Yu Ong has been the music director/conductor of many choral ensembles in Asia, Europe and the United States. Ms. Ong's trained ensembles were invited to many international choral festivals and competitions and have won several awards. Four days after September 11th, Ms. Ong conducted the Fauré’s Requiem at Lincoln Center, the first memorial concert in honor of our uniformed heroes. This September, Ms. Ong will be guest conducting in Barcelona, Spain, and then a Latin Mass in St. Peter’s, Rome. She and her choral group will have an audience with the Pope.
Ms. Ong was our Music Director when we began this choral back in 1994. At its peak, we had over 50 choral members. We are very privileged to have her back with us.
